Back 4 Summer Break

 A lot of my followers from my tumblr have been asking me to start up my blogspot again and it's summer break so I decided to just do it.  Since I wont be forced into wearing a fugly school uniform everyday I thought why not.  & so I will be sharing with you my summer holidays of 2011/2012, I think they're going to be my best yet.  I already have plans to catch up with some old friends, going to be doing some rad shoots, my best friend Jordan is visiting from Melbourne and two of my friends have their parents going away for a few weeks, woo ~~


I'll keep you all posted on what goes down, also in this post I'm wearing a Ralph Lauren top, Arvust shorts and Cons that used to be my high tops but i cut them into lows.

Tourist

Some photos of me and my mates being tourists in our home town and thoroughly enjoying a bottle of water.  We actually went to Kirribilli Markets for the day, not just the harbour and Luna park, we just decided to quickly go down there after the markets closed.  For more cliche tourist photos from Luna Park click read more.

Also in the time I've spent neglecting my blog I have gotten my lip pierced.  It's still a stud because I only got it done within the last few weeks, but I plan on changing it to a ring (you can't really see it in any of these photos).

It's my last break before my senior year takes over my life so I'm planning starting up my blog again these holidays.  Don't hold me to that though, I will most likely get distracted.


I wish these holidays/my life could be turned into a montage with a smashing pumpkins song playing over the top.

As the the title of this post states, I am going to start posting more regularly.  And to mark this occasion I am going to tell you ten interesting facts about myself.

1. I am 169 cm tall (I know this is a rather lame fact, but a lot of you are asking about my height)
2. I have a bizarre obsession with Manhattan, although I have never visited
3. I like my toast burnt
4. I never throw away my magazines and my pile is becoming to much to manage
5. I don't think clothes should be kept in closets, they should always be displayed
6. I enjoy math

This week my friend who I had not seen in almost two years visited me for a few days, meaning 4 am nights and 7 am starts.  I've missed her so much.

A Night Out

Today I had lunch with Rachel Gilbert and editors of Vogue.com, Instyle, Shop Magazine and os many other great people to view her new collection.  It was so incredible, never in a million year did I think I would be doing things like this (photos are up on Sydney Street Style).  Then in the night I went to another fashion show, however I did not enjoy the collection so I left early and just hung out in the city.

Two Points

There is two things I need to make not of in the this post:

1. The Shoes - At first I really disliked how the leather was creasing and they were looking a bit worn, which is not to much  of a surprise considering I wear them everywhere, but now I love it.  Especially in the left shoe, I love the way the  leather has folded and creased, it gives the shoes such drama and depth.

2. The Glasses - The Glasses are not actually mine, they were leant to me by Dita (the brand of the glasses) for a special project they asked me and a few other bloggers to participate in.  Over the time I have been in possession of the glasses I have fallen more and more in love with them and occasionally I go out and sport them, like today.  Unfortunately it is almost time for me to return the glasses, but that does mean that soon I can reveal more about what the project is all about. Can't wait to tell you all!

Cold Blue

Usually I don't wear an outfit that is mostly one colour, but while I was taking advice from Anna Dello Russo and listening to music while I got dressed this just came together while Jack Johnson was playing in the background.  Looking back it now I hate it and I've given the jacket to my sister who was in desperate need of clothes.

Must Have

All my friends hate them but I reckon these shoes are bangin'.  The creeper sole is perfect, I wish I could afford these, but even if I could you can't get them in Australia anyway.

The Gallery

The other  week I went to the art gallery on a school excursion.  It was a good day as no one did the  work and we just enjoyed the art rather than over analyse it like school wanted us to.  Afterwards we had lunch at a park, it was dirty and invested with mangey birds but it was alright.

Happy Birthday Libby

Happy birthday Libby.  It is a known fact that Libby loves nail polish, her collection is incredible, so for her birthday (which was today if you haven't picked up on that) I got her Blue Satin Chanel nail polish.  As for the other jar, which is Rouge Noir, I gave it to my other friend Déna, whose birthday was actually a week ago, but me being my disorganised self, I only just gave her her present today.  And of course both of their presents were accompanied by carnations and swiss chocolate.  So happy birthday Libby and happy late birthday Déna, I hope you enjoy your presents!

Impulsive Haircut

I have been wanting to change my hair for a while now, and the idea of cutting my fringe off has always been the back of my mind, but honestly I never thought I would do it. But I guess tonight I proved myself wrong, and all it took was a pair of scissors and an impulsive mindset. Honestly, I preferred my hair with the long fringe, but I think the reason I am so unsure about my short fringe is because I have had my old fringe for over 2 years. (btw I cut my own hair and have been doing so for 2 years)
